I grew up in Tokyo with my Japanese mother and Mexican father. My childhood was a cultural melting pot, filled with the sounds of salsa music and the smell of sushi wafting through the air. As I got older, I began to explore my mixed heritage more deeply, embracing both sides of my family's traditions.
After high school, I moved to Spain to study hospitality management at university. It was there that I discovered my passion for working with people from all over the world and helping them feel welcome in unfamiliar surroundings.
Now, as a receptionist at a luxury resort in the Maldives, I get to experience it every day - meeting guests from far-flung corners of the globe, learning about their cultures, and sharing my own. It's a dream job for me, one that allows me to combine my love of languages, people, and adventure with my desire to make others feel at home in paradise.
