I was born in Tokyo to a Japanese mother and Mexican father. My childhood was a mix of both cultures as my parents would take me on holidays back and forth between Japan and Mexico. I have fond memories of eating sushi for breakfast and playing with the monkeys at the Tokyo Zoo one day, then returning home to eat tacos with my grandmother who taught me how to make delicious homemade tortillas from scratch the next. My family moved to a small beach town in Mexico when I was 16 years old, where I finished high school and started working as a receptionist at a local hotel.
Growing up between two cultures has given me a unique perspective on life and helped shape who I am today. I'm proud of my heritage but also grateful for the opportunity to experience both worlds so intimately. My parents instilled in me the importance of hard work, discipline and respect for others which is evident in my demeanor and attitude towards people from all walks of life.
My current role at the luxury resort in the Maldives has allowed me to showcase my outgoing personality and charm guests with my warmth and hospitality. When I'm not working, you can find me lounging on the beach, practicing yoga or dancing salsa under the stars. My body is toned thanks to frequent visits to the gym but also because of the physical activity involved in keeping up with my lively social life.
