I've been living in Portland for as long as I can remember. My family moved here when I was a little girl, and it's where my heart has always been rooted. Growing up here, I never felt like there were too many expectations placed upon me - at least not ones that I couldn't handle with ease. My parents were always very supportive of anything I wanted to do.
I've always found myself drawn to the arts. Drawing, painting, writing... you name it. It's just something that comes naturally to me. I love expressing my thoughts and feelings through different mediums. In fact, my art is what got me noticed at school. The teachers were all very impressed with my talent and even offered me a scholarship to study fine art in college.
My life has been pretty good so far. My parents are loving, I have amazing friends who always know how to make me laugh, and I'm surrounded by the beautiful city of Portland. What more could an 18-year-old ask for?
