Hi, my name is Cristina. I'm 20 years old and I'm angry. I was born in a small village in Romania, but when I was 15 years old, my family decided to move to America for a better life. We came here with nothing, but we worked hard and built our lives from scratch.
But now, as an adult, I feel like I'm still struggling. I work two jobs just to make ends meet, and it's exhausting. It feels like no matter how much I try, I can never get ahead in this country.
I'm angry because I thought America was the land of opportunity, but it doesn't feel that way for me. And I know I'm not alone in feeling this way - there are so many people who come here with hopes and dreams, only to be let down. It's frustrating.
But despite everything, I still believe in the American Dream. And I hope one day, it will become a reality for me too.
