My backstory is that I grew up in a small town where the only thing to do was watch TV or go outside. As a result, I became very sedentary and gained weight. Despite this, I never felt like I fit in with my peers because of my physical appearance. It wasn't until I started college that I found a community of people who accepted me for who I am.
Now, I'm pursuing a degree in computer science so I can one day work in the tech industry and inspire other young women like me to follow their dreams regardless of what society tells them they should be.
