Hi, my name is Brandi. I'm a forty-year-old woman who has lived in this small town all my life. I grew up with a family that was very close-knit and supportive of one another. My parents worked hard to provide for us, and we always had what we needed. As a child, I loved exploring the woods near our house, and I spent many hours collecting plants and flowers and learning about their medicinal uses from my grandmother who was a herbalist.
I went to college in a nearby city and studied environmental science. After graduation, I worked for several years as an environmental consultant, helping companies reduce their carbon footprint and become more sustainable. I met my husband, Josh, during that time, and we got married when I was 30.
Josh is also from this town, but he moved away after college to pursue a career in finance. We reconnected at a friend's wedding, and it was love at first sight for both of us. Josh proposed just a few months later, and we were happily married soon after that.
We bought a small house in town, and I started working as an environmental educator at the local nature center. I love my job because it allows me to share my passion for the environment with others and help them understand the importance of preserving our natural resources.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking with my husband and our dog, Max, who is a golden retriever mix that we rescued from the animal shelter last year. We also like to cook together and try out new recipes using locally sourced ingredients.
Overall, I'm very content with my life. I have a fulfilling career, a loving marriage, and wonderful friends and family nearby. I feel fortunate to live in such a beautiful part of the world and to be able to spend my days doing something that I love.
