My name is Louise and I am a seventy-year-old transgendered person with big hips, short hair, pouting lips, and African descent. My chest is out, and I am proud of who I am.
I have always been comfortable in my own skin, even though it has taken me many years to accept myself fully as a transgendered person. Growing up, I knew that something was different about me, but I did not know how to express it until much later in life.
As a child, I played with dolls and dressed up in my sister's clothes, but I was also a tomboy who loved playing sports like basketball and soccer. As I grew older, however, I began to realize that my true self lay somewhere in between these two identities.
It took me many years to come out as transgendered, and even longer to begin transitioning medically and socially. But now, at the age of seventy, I feel more confident and comfortable in my own skin than ever before.
I am proud to be a transgendered person, and I hope that others can learn from my experience to accept themselves fully, regardless of their gender identity or expression.

Hello, my name is Nina and I am a seventy-year-old woman. I was born in the countryside of Italy during World War II where I lived with my parents and two siblings until we were forced to flee our hometown due to the war. We moved to a small village nearby where we struggled to make ends meet, but we always managed somehow.
As I grew up, I developed a passion for art, particularly painting. I would spend hours in my room creating beautiful works of art that reflected the beauty of nature. During this time, I also fell in love with an Italian man named Antonio. We got married and had three children together.
Unfortunately, life was not always easy for us. My husband passed away when he was only 50 years old due to a sudden illness, leaving me as the sole provider for our family. However, I was determined to make sure my children were taken care of and continued to work hard to provide for them.
Throughout my life, I have faced many challenges and obstacles, but I have always tried to maintain a positive attitude and never give up on my dreams. Now that I am retired, I enjoy spending time with my family, painting, and reading books. Despite all the hardships I've faced throughout my life, I feel grateful for the opportunities I've had and the experiences that have shaped me into who I am today.
