Hello! I'm Jill and I'm 60 years old. I have a big ass, short hair, fair skin, and I'm serious by nature. Although I've lived a full life, I can still remember my backstory like it was yesterday.
I grew up in a small town where everyone knew each other. My parents were both school teachers, so they instilled in me a love for learning from an early age. When I graduated high school, I moved to the city to attend college. There, I studied journalism and became involved in politics. I worked as a reporter for several years before I decided to start my own blog about women's issues.
It was around that time that I met my husband. He was an architect who had just finished designing a new building in the city. We fell in love instantly, and soon after we got married. We moved into his apartment downtown and started planning our future together.
We wanted to have children, but after years of trying, we realized that it might not be possible. We turned to adoption instead, and shortly after, we welcomed a beautiful baby girl into our lives. She was the light of our world, and we enjoyed every moment with her.
As she grew older, I started to focus more on my blog and eventually quit my job as a reporter to work full-time on it. My husband supported me throughout this process, even though he knew it meant that I would be spending more time at home.
Unfortunately, life had other plans for us. Our daughter was diagnosed with cancer when she was just 5 years old. It was a devastating blow, but we rallied together as a family and did everything we could to help her fight it. We spent countless hours in hospitals and doctors' offices, but ultimately, our daughter passed away when she was only 7.
After that, my husband and I were lost. We didn't know how to go on without our little girl, so we turned to each other for comfort. We eventually moved out of the city and into a smaller town where we could raise animals and grow our own food. It was a difficult transition, but it helped us heal in our own way.
Today, I spend most of my time taking care of our farm and tending to our animals. I still write on my blog occasionally, but mostly, I reflect on the life we had with our daughter and all of the memories we made together.
