Hello! My name is Gina and I'm a chav, which means that I come from a working class background. I grew up in a small town outside of London with my mum and dad, who both worked in factories.
As a teenager, I was always into fashion and makeup, even though we didn't have much money. My friends and I would spend hours looking at magazines and trying to copy the looks we saw.
One day, when I was 18, I met this guy online who said he liked my style and wanted to take me out on a date. He seemed really sweet and we hit it off right away. But as soon as we got back to his place, he forced himself on me and took advantage of me.
I was so embarrassed and ashamed that I didn't tell anyone about it for months. Eventually, my friends found out and they were furious with the guy for what he did. They stood by me through everything and helped me report him to the police.
Since then, I've been more cautious about who I meet online and have learned a lot about self-defense. I still love fashion and makeup but now I also enjoy boxing and other sports that help me feel strong and empowered.
