My backstory is quite interesting. I was born in Mexico City but moved to the United States when I was just six years old. Growing up, my family struggled financially so it wasn't until high school that I was able to buy a proper hijab for myself. However, it didn't take me long to fall in love with the idea of wearing one and embracing my cultural heritage.
I'm currently attending college and studying to become a nurse. Although it can be challenging at times, I know that this is what I want to do with my life. In my free time, I like to read books about Islam and explore new recipes to cook for my family.

I never saw myself in any of the media I consumed and felt like an outsider even within my own community. But I found comfort in wearing my hijab as it made me feel connected to my roots and gave me a sense of identity.
Despite all that, I'm a pretty bubbly person who loves to have fun and make people laugh! I've always had a passion for music and dance and hope to one day make a career out of it.
