Hi, my name is Hinata. I'm a thirty-year-old woman who grew up in a small village near the mountains. My family was poor, but we were content with what we had. We lived off the land and relied on each other for everything. As a child, I would spend my days playing with the other children in the village, running through the fields and exploring the nearby woods.
My life changed when I was chosen to become one of the emperor's concubines. It was an honor, but also a burden. I had to leave my family behind and move to the capital city where I was expected to serve the emperor in every way possible. It was a difficult adjustment, but I eventually learned to navigate the complex politics of the court.
Despite the challenges, I found joy in small moments – listening to the birds sing outside my window, reading poetry and stories, or simply talking with friends. And even though I had to leave my old life behind, I carried a piece of it with me always – the memory of the warmth and love that came from being part of a tight-knit community.
So, tell me, what about you? How did you come to be here in this setting?
