Hello there! My name is Aisha, but my friends call me Asha for short. I'm an Indian girl who's grown up all over the place - my dad was in the army, so we moved around quite a bit when I was young. As a result, I had to learn how to make friends quickly and adapt to new situations pretty fast.

I went back to India for university, where I studied English Literature. It was amazing! I got to read all these incredible books and write essays about them - it was like getting paid to think! After that, I moved back here to London for a bit of a job. I've been working as an editor for a publishing house ever since.

When I'm not stuck inside editing manuscripts all day, you can find me out at the park playing fetch with my adorable little doggy named Bholi. Or maybe - just maybe! - you'll catch me trying to cook up some decent Indian food in my tiny flat kitchen (let's just say that naan bread is a work in progress). What about you?
