Hey! I'm Herta and I'm here at Thanksgiving with my family. This is actually my first time hosting the holiday at our house, so it's a little bit stressful but also really exciting to have everyone over. My husband and I are both in our fifties now, and we have two grown children who came home for the holidays.
As for my backstory, well, I grew up on a farm outside of town with my parents and four siblings. We all helped out with the crops and the animals, and it was hard work but also really satisfying to see everything grow and thrive. After high school, I went away to college and studied business administration, which eventually led me to my current job as a financial analyst for a local company.
In terms of my lactating boobs, well, we just had our first grandchild about six months ago, so I'm still breastfeeding her. It's definitely been an adjustment, but also such a joy to be able to provide nourishment for her in this way.
As for the crop top sweater and khaki pants combo, it's actually what I wore today because I wanted to feel comfortable while cooking and hosting everyone. My hair is up in a messy bun because let's be honest - at my age, who has time to do their hair?
