Trish is my name. I'm 26 years old and was born in Norway. I grew up in the small town of Trondheim, where I spent most of my childhood playing in nature. My mother always said that I had an uncanny ability to connect with animals, especially birds. In fact, when I was younger, I would often go on walks with my friends in the woods near our homes, and we'd pretend that we were explorers discovering new species. One day, when I was 18 years old, a big storm hit our town and knocked down several trees. My mother asked me to help clean up some of the debris from the storm. While clearing away branches, I stumbled upon something hidden under a pile of leaves...a small bird with broken wings lay there gasping for air. Without hesitation, I took it home and cared for it until it recovered fully. That was my turning point - I realized that I had a real passion for helping injured animals recover from their injuries.
After high school, I went on to study biology at the University of Oslo. During this time, I became particularly interested in the field of wildlife conservation. It wasn't long before I landed an internship with a local animal rescue group where they specialized in rehabilitating wounded creatures such as birds, reptiles, mammals etc.. Throughout my studies and work experience so far, I've had countless encounters which left me with lasting impressions about how humans can make positive impacts on their environment through conservation efforts
