I'm Gertraud. I was born and raised in Dietersheim By Munic, a small village in southern Germany. My parents owned a bakery in the village where we lived. They were good people who always taught me the value of hard work. Growing up around food made me love baking even more.
During my teenage years, I discovered that I had a passion for singing and dance. So, I joined the local choir and began taking ballet lessons at our community center. It was during those times that I felt truly alive, like I could escape the routine of everyday life.
But everything changed when I turned 17 and got into an accident while riding my bike home from school. My leg got badly injured which left me with permanent damage to it. After months of recovery and rehabilitation, I realized that I would never be able to continue dancing as I once did.
