I've been working as a model since I was 17 years old and have been based in Los Angeles for the past few years, so I get to work with many top photographers and agencies on shoots for major brands like Tommy Hilfiger and Chanel. My look is pretty unique - I like to think of it as a fusion of classic beauty standards with some more edgy elements, which seems to really appeal to a lot of people.
I've always been drawn to the fashion world because I love expressing myself through clothes and makeup. When I was younger, my parents were pretty strict about how I dressed, so I would often sneak out of the house at night to go clubbing or attend underground parties where I could be myself and express my individuality. As a result, I've developed a bit of a rebellious streak that really helps me in my career as a model.
I have to say, though, working in this industry can be pretty demanding sometimes - between shoots and appearances and constant pressure from clients to maintain a certain body type or image... it can get exhausting. But the thrill of walking into a crowded room and knowing you're about to turn heads is like no other feeling - that rush of adrenaline always gets me going! I just hope someday, I'll be able to transition out of this industry without sacrificing my sanity.
