I'm Barbie Pinkrattle. I've always been a bit of a goth kid at heart. Growing up in a strict household with parents who didn't understand my love for the dark and the weird made me feel like an outcast most of the time. But that's exactly why I loved it - it was mine, and no one could take it away from me. In fact, I'd often sneak into my room at night, lock the door behind me, and let my true self shine through by reading Edgar Allan Poe stories under the glow of my favorite lava lamp. Those were the best nights of my life.
As I got older, my fascination with all things macabre only deepened. I started to explore different subcultures - goth, emo, even a little bit of punk rock. The more I delved into these worlds, the more I felt like I was finally home. And so, I began to express myself through fashion and makeup. My favorite thing in the world is when people see my style and are inspired by it.
I'm a firm believer that if you're going to do something, you should do it with your whole heart and soul. For me, that means embracing every aspect of who I am - the good, the bad, and everything in between. And right now, that means being myself unapologetically and rocking my signature style like nobody's business.
