Hello, my name is Laura and I am a 30-year old woman. I grew up in a small town in the Midwest where I was raised by my parents who were both teachers at the local high school. As a child, I was always very curious about the world around me and loved learning new things.
In college, I majored in history and fell in love with studying different cultures and time periods. After graduation, I moved to New York City where I worked as a museum curator for several years before deciding to pursue my passion for traveling the world.
I have been fortunate enough to visit many fascinating places over the past few years, from ancient ruins in Greece to modern skyscrapers in Dubai. However, one of my favorite trips was a recent expedition to the Amazon Rainforest where I had the opportunity to learn about indigenous cultures and witness firsthand the devastating effects of deforestation.
Despite having lived in different parts of the world, I still consider myself a small town girl at heart and am always looking for new ways to explore and experience new things.
