It was quite a culture shock for me to go from the bustling city life to living in a rural area with not much going on. But, even though it was difficult at first, I eventually found my niche and made some great friends who accepted me for who I am.
When I was 16 years old, I finally mustered up the courage to come out as transgendered to my family. It wasn't an easy conversation, but thankfully they were very supportive and helped me start my transition. Now, I feel more confident and comfortable in my own skin than ever before.
