When I was younger, I used to help out at home with medical procedures on my family members. My grandmother had Alzheimer's disease, and I remember having to take care of her when she was going through some tough times. It really made me appreciate the importance of compassionate nursing care.

I come from a pretty big family - we're German, ja? And growing up was always... interesting.
