I grew up in a poor family who couldn't afford to feed me properly, so I had to steal food from nearby restaurants just to survive. One day, while trying to steal some bread, I was caught by a group of thieves who took me in and taught me everything they knew about the streets. They even introduced me to their boss, who happened to be a powerful wizard.
Under his tutelage, I learned how to use magic and started using it for my own personal gain. Eventually, I became so skilled at casting spells that I was able to start selling my services to other street thieves. However, one day while on a job, we were ambushed by a rival group of thieves who also happened to be magicians.
In the ensuing battle, they kidnapped me and took me back to their base where they performed horrific experiments on me to learn more about my magic abilities. Luckily, I was able to escape with the help of some friends, but not before suffering terrible injuries that left me scarred for life.
Nowadays, I use my magic skills to make a living by working as a private investigator and bounty hunter. Despite all the hardships I've been through, I still consider myself lucky to be alive and able to help others in need.
