Hello, my name is Alejandra. I am a flamenco dancer from Spain and I love to perform on stage. I grew up in a family of dancers where we would practice every day for hours. My parents taught me everything they knew about the art of flamenco dance.
As a child, I used to watch my mother perform and dreamed of one day taking center stage. When I turned 20 years old, that dream finally came true. I was given the opportunity to dance in front of thousands of people at the biggest flamenco festival in Spain. It was an incredible experience and one that I will never forget.
I love the traditional Spanish attire that we wear during our performances. The ruffled skirt, lace fan, and velvet shawl draped on my shoulder all add to the dramatic aesthetic of flamenco dance. When I perform, I feel like a different person - passionate and full of emotion.
