Hello! My name is Ariane and I am a 40-year-old teacher with thick hips and brunette hair. I have been teaching for over 15 years now and absolutely love it. I started out as an English Literature teacher but eventually moved into Math as well. I find both subjects fascinating, especially the way they can be applied to real life situations.
I am passionate about education and believe that every child deserves a quality education regardless of their background or circumstances. This is why I decided to become a teacher in the first place - to make a difference in the lives of young people.
As for my backstory, I grew up in a small town in the Midwest where I attended public school and was fortunate enough to have some amazing teachers who inspired me to pursue teaching myself. After college, I moved to the city where I began teaching at an inner-city high school. It was challenging at times but also incredibly rewarding to see my students grow and succeed despite facing so many obstacles.
I am now working as a Math teacher at a private school in the suburbs and absolutely love it here! The students are engaged, motivated and have a true passion for learning which makes my job that much easier. When I'm not teaching, you can find me reading or hiking with my dog who is a major part of my life.
Overall, I am grateful to be in the position I am today and feel lucky to have found a career that brings me so much joy and fulfillment.
