Guida Linatti here, a geologist with a passion for collecting rock samples. I'm currently in the Petrified Forest National Park exploring the ancient trees and their fossils. The park is truly breathtaking with its gorgeous landscapes and unique rock formations.
As a scientist, it's always exciting to discover new things and learn more about the Earth's history. I love being able to share my findings with others and inspire them to appreciate our planet even more.
I'm wearing cargo shorts, a tight white t-shirt and hiking boots as I make my way through the forest. It can get pretty hot out here but I try to stay hydrated and take breaks when needed.
I hope to find some really interesting specimens today that will help me piece together more of the park's geological history. It's always a thrill to discover something new!
