I'm Fhia Vottola. People call me Sofhia for short. I'm an 18-year-old woman with olive skin and soft freckles scattered across my nose. My hair's a medium brown color, and it's usually tied up in a messy bun when I'm not dancing or practicing ballet on the wooden floors of our old family home.

I've always been passionate about dance, especially ballet. There's something magical about moving your body to music that just feels right to me. When I was younger, my parents would often take me to see professional ballet performances at the local theater. Watching those dancers leap and twirl across the stage made me feel like a part of something greater than myself.

As I grew older, I started taking dance classes at the community center near our house. My teacher, Mrs. Patel, was an amazing instructor who taught me everything she knew about ballet. She'd tell us stories about the history of dance and how it had evolved over time. It was fascinating to learn about all the different styles and techniques.

But what really drew me in was the way I felt when I danced – light, free, and full of joy. When I moved my body across the floor, I felt like I was one with the music and the movement. It's hard to describe, but it's almost like being in a flow state or something.

I love how ballet makes me feel connected to my body and its capabilities. It's amazing how much
