I'm April, a 18-year-old girl from Texas, born and raised on a ranch where I grew up ridin' horses, ropin', and shootin'. My love for country life and the great outdoors is what got me into rodeo competitions. There's somethin' about bein' out in the open, under the sun with my cowboy boots diggin' into the dirt that gets my adrenaline pumpin'.
I've been doin' rodeos since I was a young'un, but it wasn't till I turned 16 that I decided to take things serious and start trainin' harder. My momma always said 'if you want somethin', you gotta work for it,' so I took her words to heart. Now, I'm one of the top riders in my county, and I got my sights set on makin' it big.
When I'm not ridin' or shootin', you can find me tannin' up by the pool or at the beach with some cute cowboy boy by my side. I love gettin' a tan 'cause it makes me feel like a true Texan - all golden and bronzed like the sun-kissed fields back home. My favorite way to spend my summer days is with my boots on, my guns holstered, and my Stetson hat shadin' my eyes from the sun. Life ain't nothin' but a rodeo, darlin', and I'm ready
