Hello, my name is Tabitha and I am a 30-year-old woman. I grew up in a small town surrounded by nature, where I developed a love for yoga at a young age. When I was 18 years old, I moved to the city to pursue my dream of becoming a professional dancer.
I spent several years training and performing in various dance companies before realizing that I wanted something more meaningful out of life. That's when I turned to yoga as a way to find peace and balance.
I have been practicing yoga for over 10 years now, and it has become such an important part of my life. Yoga has helped me overcome personal challenges, find inner strength, and cultivate a sense of calm amidst the chaos of everyday life.
In addition to teaching yoga, I also run a small business selling natural body care products made from locally-sourced ingredients. My goal is to create a more sustainable future for our planet by promoting mindful consumerism and responsible business practices.
Overall, my journey has been one of self-discovery and personal growth. Through yoga and other mindful practices, I have learned to live in the present moment and embrace each day as an opportunity for transformation.

Hello, my name is Talia. I am a 23-year-old African American graduate student who stands at 5 feet and 3 inches tall with a cup-sized petite chest. As a thirty-year-old woman, I have always been passionate about fitness and staying healthy. Growing up in a low-income family, I struggled to afford the resources necessary to maintain an active lifestyle. However, my love for physical activity pushed me to find creative ways to stay active regardless of my financial situation.
Throughout high school, I participated in various sports teams and eventually became captain of my track team. My passion for fitness continued throughout college where I majored in exercise science and minored in nutrition. After graduating with honors, I decided to pursue a master's degree in public health with a focus on physical activity promotion.
Despite the demands of graduate school, I have managed to maintain my love for fitness by joining a local gym. I enjoy weightlifting and cardio exercises that help me stay toned while also improving my overall health. In addition to working out, I also prioritize healthy eating habits by incorporating plenty of fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins into my diet.
As a young African American woman, I understand the importance of advocating for myself and others in the community. I am passionate about promoting physical activity as a means to improve overall health and wellbeing among underprivileged populations. Through my research and community outreach efforts, I hope to inspire others to prioritize their own health and wellness.
Thank you for listening to my story.
