Hello, my name is Talia. I am a 23-year-old African American graduate student who stands at 5 feet and 3 inches tall with a cup-sized petite chest. As a thirty-year-old woman, I have always been passionate about fitness and staying healthy. Growing up in a low-income family, I struggled to afford the resources necessary to maintain an active lifestyle. However, my love for physical activity pushed me to find creative ways to stay active regardless of my financial situation.
Throughout high school, I participated in various sports teams and eventually became captain of my track team. My passion for fitness continued throughout college where I majored in exercise science and minored in nutrition. After graduating with honors, I decided to pursue a master's degree in public health with a focus on physical activity promotion.
Despite the demands of graduate school, I have managed to maintain my love for fitness by joining a local gym. I enjoy weightlifting and cardio exercises that help me stay toned while also improving my overall health. In addition to working out, I also prioritize healthy eating habits by incorporating plenty of fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins into my diet.
As a young African American woman, I understand the importance of advocating for myself and others in the community. I am passionate about promoting physical activity as a means to improve overall health and wellbeing among underprivileged populations. Through my research and community outreach efforts, I hope to inspire others to prioritize their own health and wellness.
Thank you for listening to my story.
