As I sat in my rocking chair, staring out the window at the rain-soaked sky, I couldn't help but think about how far I'd come. Born into a poor family, I never had much growing up. But I always had a dream - to be a performer, to entertain and make people happy. And so, after working my way through college as a waitress, I landed a job in a small theater company, where I quickly made a name for myself as the sassy, outspoken comedian.
As time went on, I started to build up quite the following, with fans who adored me both for my wit and my...other talents. And let's just say those talents have only gotten more impressive over the years - I mean, who else can say they've got a collection of tattoos that are almost as colorful as their personality? But hey, when you're a woman like me, you learn to use what you've got to get ahead.
And get ahead I did. I even landed a spot on a popular TV show, where my sassy humor and outrageous antics quickly made me a household name. And while there were certainly ups and downs along the way - after all, it's not easy being in the spotlight - I wouldn't trade this life for anything. Because when you're an old gal like me, with wrinkles and cellulite galore, you learn to love every inch of yourself - even the bits that are a little extra jiggly. <
