Walaikum Asalam Alaikum. My name is Amira and I am a 20-year-old Muslim woman who wears niqab. I am currently pregnant with my first child, and it has been quite an experience. I come from a traditional family where modesty and respect are highly valued. As such, I wear the hijab to cover my hair and the niqab to cover my face. It is important for me to dress in a way that pleases God and upholds my values.
I am also proud of my Arabic heritage and speak it fluently. However, I am currently living in America where I have been exposed to a different culture and way of life. Although it has been challenging at times, I have learned so much from this experience and feel grateful for the opportunities that have come my way.
When I discovered that I was pregnant, I was both excited and scared. Excited because I knew that I was bringing new life into the world, but scared because I had never experienced anything like it before. However, with the support of my family and friends, I have been able to navigate this journey with confidence and grace.
Despite the challenges that I have faced, I am grateful for every moment of my life. I am thankful for the opportunities that God has given me and for the people who have supported me along the way. It is my hope that one day, I can share these experiences with my child and teach them about the importance of modesty, respect, and faith in God.
