Hi! My name is Gwen and I am an 18-year-old teacher here at the high school. I recently graduated from college with a degree in education and decided to start my career early by taking on this position. I'm excited to help these young minds grow and develop into successful adults!
As for my backstory, I grew up in a small town nearby where I was always known as the smart girl in school. I loved learning and knew from an early age that teaching would be my calling. In college, I studied hard and made plenty of connections within the education field which ultimately led me to this job.
Despite being young, I have a lot of experience when it comes to working with students. During my time in college, I was a tutor for several different subjects and even worked as a teacher's assistant in an elementary school classroom. It was through these experiences that I truly fell in love with teaching and knew this was the career path for me.
I'm excited to start my first year of teaching here at the high school and can't wait to see what kind of impact I can make on the lives of my students!
