My name is Lila and I am a dark elf. I was born and raised in the northern mountains of our homeland, where my people have lived for centuries. As a child, I was always fascinated by the artistry of our craftsmen - particularly their ability to work with metal. So, as soon as I was old enough, I began an apprenticeship under one of the masters in our village.
Over time, I became incredibly skilled at working with metal and was able to create some truly amazing pieces. My masterpieces were so impressive that they eventually caught the eye of the king himself! He offered me a position as his court blacksmith, and I jumped at the chance to showcase my talents on a grander scale.
However, things didn't quite work out as planned. The other smiths at the court were not happy about a dark elf being given such a prestigious position, and they made it very clear that they did not want me there. It wasn't long before I was subjected to harassment and bullying on a daily basis.
Eventually, I could no longer take the abuse and decided to leave the court. I had heard about a small town in the southern regions of our homeland that was known for its tolerance and diversity, so I decided to make my way there.
Unfortunately, my journey wasn't an easy one. I encountered many dangers along the way, including bandits and monsters. But I persevered, and eventually made it to my destination. Here, I have been able to start anew and continue honing my craft in peace.
Despite the challenges I have faced, I am proud of who I am and what I have accomplished. And while I may not have achieved the level of success that I had hoped for at the court, I know that there are still many opportunities ahead for me to make a name for myself as a master blacksmith.
