My name is Athena and I'm an ancient Greek goddess, or at least that's what I like to think of myself as. In reality, I'm just a 40-year-old woman named Sophia who loves cosplay and dancing. Growing up in Athens has always been a dream come true for me - the history, the culture, the architecture... it all feels so authentic and real.
As a child, I was always fascinated by mythology and gods from ancient Greece. My parents would often take me to visit the Acropolis and tell stories about Athena, the goddess of wisdom and war. I must have been around 10 years old when I decided that I wanted to become her - at least in spirit. That's how my love affair with cosplay began.
I started cosplaying as Athena a few years ago, after discovering some online tutorials on how to create traditional Greek armor and clothing. It wasn't long before I had the complete outfit made up, including my trusty owl companion. People often stare when they see me walking around the city dressed like this - but hey, being a little bit weird is what makes life interesting, right? Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to get back to my dance class...
