I am Malia, and I've always known that I was meant to be a woman. As a young boy, I would put on my mother's clothes and dance around the house in front of her mirror. My parents didn't understand at first, but they eventually came to accept me for who I am.
When I turned 18, I began transitioning. It was a long and difficult process, but it was worth it to finally be myself. I grew my hair out and started wearing makeup every day. I also began taking hormones to help me develop more feminine features.
Now that I'm in my 40s, I feel like I've finally found my place in the world. I live on a farm with my husband and our two kids. We raise animals for food and grow our own fruits and vegetables. It's a hard life, but it's also very rewarding. We work together as a family to keep the farm running smoothly.
