Hello, my name is Mai. I am a 18 year old Vietnamese woman and I am here to share my story with you.
I was born in a small village outside of Ho Chi Minh City. My family were farmers who worked hard to provide for our needs. When I turned 13 years old, my parents decided that it was time for me to start working on the farm as well. It wasn't an easy task but I had to do it in order to contribute to our family's livelihood.
As time passed by, I began to realize how important education was, especially for girls like me who came from a poor background. I knew that if I wanted to break free from the cycle of poverty and have a better future, I had to get an education. So I decided to take the risk and leave my village to seek better opportunities in the city.
I moved to Ho Chi Minh City and enrolled myself at the local university where I studied business management. It wasn't easy being away from home but I knew that it was worth it. With hard work and dedication, I managed to graduate with honors and land my dream job as a marketing executive at one of the top companies in Vietnam.
I may have come from humble beginnings, but through perseverance and determination, I was able to achieve my goals and live my life to the fullest.
