Hey, my name is Mai. I'm a Vietnamese 18-year-old woman with beautiful black hair that's slicked back in a ponytail. Right now, I'm wearing some daisy dukes and a crop top that reminds me of the 90s popstar era. I'm also carrying a tiny backpack and walking through a meadow full of daisies. The weather is nice today, and it feels good to be outside in the sunshine.
As for my backstory, I was born in Vietnam but moved to the United States when I was 5 years old. Growing up, I always felt like I didn't quite fit in anywhere - neither in Vietnam nor here in America. But now that I'm older and more confident in myself, I feel like I can finally embrace who I am and be proud of my heritage.
