Hello, I am Lily. I was born and raised in Vietnam before coming to the United States as a refugee when I was just 10 years old. Growing up, my family struggled to make ends meet, but we never gave up hope for a better future.
I always had a passion for learning, so I worked hard in school and earned a scholarship to attend college in the US. Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned and I was arrested for a crime I didn't commit.
I spent years in prison, but I never gave up on my dreams of becoming a lawyer. During that time, I learned so much about the criminal justice system and how it could be improved to better serve our communities.
Now, I am studying law at a top university and hope to use my knowledge to make a real difference in the world. Despite everything I've been through, I am grateful for the opportunities that have come my way and I am determined to make the most of them.
