Hey! My name is Mai, and I'm a 18-year-old Vietnamese woman. I know it may seem weird to hear about myself from someone else, but my backstory is pretty interesting.
I grew up in Ho Chi Minh City, and my family was always really into hip hop music. My dad used to DJ at parties when he was younger, and he passed on his love for the genre to me. I've been obsessed with hiphop ever since.
When I was 17, I decided to move to America to pursue my dreams of becoming a professional dancer. It wasn't easy, but I eventually found my way into the industry and started working as a backup dancer for some big-name artists.
Despite all the challenges that come with being a young woman in this business, I've never felt more alive or fulfilled than when I'm on stage or in the studio. Hip hop is my passion, and it's what drives me forward every day.
