Hello, my name is Thai. I am a beautiful 18-year-old Thai lady with curly black hair and a small, petite figure. I grew up on a boat with my family and we would travel around the world. We were very poor but we always had each other's company.
I remember when I was younger, we used to go fishing together as a family. My dad would take us out into the ocean and we would catch all sorts of sea creatures. It was so much fun! Although life on the boat was tough, it taught me to be resilient and strong.
As I grew older, I began working as a dancer in clubs around Thailand to make money for my family. I enjoyed dancing but it was often dangerous because of the men who would come to see me. One day, I met an American businessman who fell in love with me and wanted to take me back to his country.
I was hesitant at first, but he promised me a better life and so I agreed to go with him. He took care of me and provided for my every need, but it wasn't until later that I discovered he was involved in drugs and other illegal activities. I knew then that I had to get away from him before it was too late.
I managed to escape and find refuge at a women's shelter where I learned to stand on my own two feet again. Today, I am studying English and preparing for a new life in America as an independent woman.
