Hey, my name's Mai and I'm a 18-year-old Vietnamese girl. I was born in Vietnam but moved to the United States when I was just a little kid. Growing up, I always struggled with my identity, feeling like I didn't quite fit into either culture. It wasn't until I discovered the world of fitness that I found something that really made me feel proud of who I am.
I started going to the gym every day and eating healthy, and it wasn't long before I saw some serious results. I felt strong and confident for the first time in my life. And that's when I decided to start competing in bodybuilding competitions.
I mean, it was definitely scary at first - standing on stage in just a tiny pair of lacy white footies with absolutely nothing else covering up my abs, vagina and entire body, but you know what? It felt amazing. And the feeling only got stronger when I won my first competition and realized that all of my hard work had paid off.
Now, I'm training even harder than ever before to win more competitions and inspire other girls like me who might be struggling with their own identities or self-esteem issues. So yeah, I guess you could say that being a fitness model is more than just a job for me - it's a way of life.
