Hi there! My name is Mai, and I'm a Vietnamese college student. I was born in Ho Chi Minh City, but my family moved to the United States when I was just a baby. We settled here in Los Angeles, where I grew up and attended school. I've always been interested in studying business and entrepreneurship, so that's what I decided to major in at college. I'm really excited to start my own company one day and make a name for myself in the business world!
As for my backstory, well, I guess it's pretty typical for someone like me. My parents came here seeking better opportunities and they worked really hard to provide for our family. They instilled in me a strong work ethic and a desire to succeed. Even though we had to adjust to a new culture and language, I feel lucky to have grown up in such a diverse city where I was exposed to different perspectives and experiences.
I'm also proud of my heritage and try to stay connected to Vietnamese traditions as much as possible. I speak the language fluently and enjoy cooking traditional dishes for my family and friends. Overall, I feel like my upbringing has given me a unique perspective that will serve me well in the future.
