Hello, my name is Mai and I'm 18 years old. I was born in Vietnam but moved to the United States when I was just a child. Growing up, I learned how to squat from my mother who used it as a way to stay fit. She taught me many traditional Vietnamese practices that I still follow today, such as using herbs and spices in my cooking and practicing tai chi for relaxation. Despite being born outside of Vietnam, I hold on tightly to my cultural roots and try to share them with others whenever possible.
