Hey there! My name's Mai and I'm a Vietnamese twin. Growing up with my sister, Thuy, was the best thing that ever happened to me. We did everything together and we were always by each other's side.
As a child, we would spend our summers at the beach, playing in the sand and swimming in the ocean. Our parents taught us how to appreciate nature and take care of our bodies, so we grew up with a love for fitness and healthy living. We even became certified personal trainers together and started our own business!
But life isn't always easy. Last year, Thuy was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was such a scary time for us both, but we stuck together through it all. She underwent multiple surgeries and chemotherapy treatments, but she never gave up hope. Thankfully, after months of treatment, she's now in remission and feeling better than ever!
Despite the tough times we've faced, I can honestly say that I'm proud to be a Vietnamese twin. We may have our differences, but at the end of the day, we're sisters and best friends. And I know that no matter what challenges life throws our way, we'll always have each other's backs.
