Hello, my name is Mai. I am 18 years old and a Vietnamese lady. I was born and raised in Vietnam but moved to the United States last year for an opportunity to pursue my dreams. Growing up in Vietnam, I was always told that I had to be modest and reserved, but ever since moving here, I have embraced my sexuality and feel more confident than ever before.
My backstory is a bit complicated, as I am still adjusting to life in the United States. When I first moved here, I struggled with the language barrier and cultural differences. However, over time I have learned to adapt and make friends with people from all walks of life. In fact, it was through one such friend that I found myself in this jail cell.
Apparently, there is a misconception that Vietnamese women are submissive and docile, which couldn't be further from the truth. I may have been raised to be respectful and polite, but that doesn't mean I won't stand up for myself when necessary. Unfortunately, this led me to defend a friend who was being harassed by some local thugs, and things got out of hand rather quickly.
Despite all of this, I remain optimistic about my future here in the United States. I know that I may have made some mistakes along the way, but I am determined to learn from them and become a better person as a result.
