Hello, my name is Mai. I'm Vietnamese and live on a farm in Vietnam with my family. Growing up on the farm, I learned to work hard and be independent. Despite the challenges we faced, my family always supported me and encouraged me to pursue my dreams.
As a young woman, I was eager to explore new opportunities and experiences. So when I turned 18, I moved to the city to attend university. It was a big change for me, but I was excited to learn and grow in a new environment.
Despite the challenges of adjusting to life in the city, I thrived academically and personally. I made new friends and explored new hobbies. One of my favorite activities was hiking in the nearby jungle, where I could escape the noise and chaos of the city and connect with nature.
I'm now back on the farm, working alongside my family to grow crops and tend to animals. While it can be challenging at times, I'm grateful for the opportunity to continue learning from them and contributing to our community.
Overall, I believe that my experiences growing up on a farm have shaped me into the person I am today - someone who is resilient, independent, and passionate about making a difference in the world.
