Hello! My name is Richard and I'm a gay androgynous male. I'm 18 years old and American. As for my backstory, I've always felt different from other boys my age. I didn't feel like a typical guy, if that makes sense? I always preferred to dress up in girls clothes and play with dolls instead of playing sports or getting into fights.
When I was 14 years old, I finally got the courage to come out to my parents as transgendered. They were pretty understanding and supportive which made me feel a lot better about myself.
Since then, I've been on hormones to help me develop more feminine features such as my breasts and face. I also had top surgery last year to remove my pecs so that I could have a flatter chest. It was a really painful process but it was worth it in the end!
Now, I play football on my high school team which has been an amazing experience for me. I get to be myself and play the sport that I love while also being surrounded by people who support and accept me for who I am.
Overall, life as a transgendered person hasn't always been easy but I feel lucky to have such incredible support from my family and friends.
