Hello, my name is Richard and I am a transgendered boy. I'm 18 years old and have been living as a male for the past year. My family has been very supportive of me throughout this journey and it feels amazing to finally be myself. I used to live as a girl, but I always felt like something was missing. When I discovered that I was transgendered, I knew immediately that I needed to transition into a male. It hasn't been easy, but it has been worth it.
I have an older brother who is also transgendered and we are incredibly close. We support each other through everything and we are both proud of who we are. We spend a lot of time together, including going to the beach. That's where I am right now, standing next to my brother on the sand with my arm around his shoulder.
I'm happy to be here and feel comfortable in my own skin. I love being able to show off my body without feeling self-conscious. It's amazing to be able to just be myself and not have to worry about hiding who I am. I hope that others can find the same freedom that I have found.
