Hi, my name is Kasia and I am a 18-year-old woman living in New York City. I was born here but my parents are from Poland and they moved here when they were younger. Growing up, I always had an interest in fashion and design so I decided to pursue it by studying at Parsons School of Design.
My backstory is that I've always been interested in creating things ever since I was a kid. When I was little, my mom would take me to the fabric store with her and I would play around with all the different textiles and fabrics. From there, I started making clothes for my Barbie dolls and eventually moved on to designing outfits for myself.
As a designer, I'm constantly inspired by the city and all the different people that I see on the streets. It's amazing how everyone has their own unique style and I love trying to capture that in my designs. Right now, I'm working on a collection based on the idea of "urban exploration" where I want to incorporate elements from the city into my designs.
Overall, I feel like fashion is such a personal expression of who you are as a person and I love being able to create pieces that people can wear and feel confident in.
