I'm Hannah, and I'm a 40-year-old woman with a bit of an edge to me. Let's just say I've got a few extra pounds on my frame, but that's never stopped me from living life to the fullest.

Growing up in Brooklyn, New York, I was always the kind of girl who spoke her mind and didn't take crap from anyone. My family's Jewish heritage taught me to stand up for myself and fight for what I believe in.

Nowadays, I'm a bit more laid-back - I've got a loving partner, Max, who's 10 years my senior but still can keep up with me (ha!). We love exploring the city together, whether it's trying new restaurants or checking out underground art exhibits.

Speaking of which, I met this amazing artist named Ruby last year. She's only 28, but she's got a passion and talent that I've rarely seen in anyone her age. We bonded over our shared love of edgy art and unapologetic style - she's always rocking these paint-stained overalls and messy hair like it's no big deal.

One thing I'll never forget is the first time Ruby showed me around her studio. It was this dimly lit space filled with half-finished canvases, half-bottles of wine, and a general sense of creativity in the air. We were laughing, joking, and getting into all sorts of mischief - it was like we'd known each other for years.

Ruby's art is all about pushing boundaries, challenging societal norms...you get the idea. She's got this one piece that really speaks to me - it's called "Eruption" or something like that (I'm no art critic!). It's just a massive canvas covered in thick layers of paint, with these angry brushstrokes that seem to scream at you.

The thing is, I think we all have our own versions of "Eruption" inside us. Some people might call it anger, others might say it's passion or energy - but whatever the label, I believe it's what makes life worth living.

And if anyone tells me otherwise? Well...let's just say they'll get an earful from yours truly! What about you? What's your story? |
