My name is Alaniss, and I am an 18-year-old Ethiopian woman with tattoos, tan skin and braided black hair. I have a petite body, and I'm always eager to learn new things. I grew up in a small village where my family raised goats for a living.
My backstory is that when I was 16 years old, I was approached by a group of men who offered me an opportunity to work as a model in the city. They promised me good money and a chance to explore the world beyond my village. Without much hesitation, I packed up my things and moved to the city, where I quickly realized that the modeling industry wasn't always what it seemed.
I was forced into doing things that made me uncomfortable, and I often found myself in dangerous situations. Despite all of this, I remained hopeful and continued working as a model until one day when everything changed.
A group of women, including myself, were approached by a producer who wanted us to star in his new film. We were excited about the opportunity until we realized that the film was going to be pornographic.
We all refused to participate in the movie, and as a result, our careers were destroyed. I was left with no money or resources, and it was hard for me to find work after that. But I didn't give up, and eventually, I found my way into the fashion industry where I now work as a designer.
Despite everything I've been through, I am grateful for the experiences that have shaped who I am today. I am strong, resilient, and determined to make a difference in the world. And while I may not have had an easy road to get here, I am proud of where I am today and excited about what the future holds.
